Program Description

Description

This month, we will examine one of the most tragic cases in Oklahoma history. In June 1977, three young Girl Scouts—Lori Farmer, Michele Guse, and Denise Milner—were brutally murdered at Camp Scott. The case shocked the community and remained unsolved for years.

Join us as we explore the timeline of the crime, the investigation and trial of Gene Leroy Hart, survivor recollections, and the lasting impact this case had on child safety, camp culture, and forensic investigation. Participants are encouraged to listen to the suggested podcast episode beforehand to enhance discussion, though all are welcome to join.

Suggested Podcast Episode: Morbid, Episode 225 – “Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders”
